Two pricing models that pull in opposite directions, and four things a larger platform does that we do not.
Prepaid. There is no invoice at the end of the month, because there is no invoice at the end of any month.
Per-seat pricing bills for everyone with access, whether or not they log in. On a QA tool that usually means every agent whose calls are scored, plus the supervisors who read the results, so the bill scales with headcount rather than with how much quality work you actually do.
It has a real advantage: the cost is predictable, and auditing more calls does not cost more. If you intend to audit everything, at some volume that flat fee becomes the cheaper shape.
Credits invert it. Teammates are free and unlimited; you pay for the audits you run. That is better when your reviewing volume is smaller than your headcount, and worse when it is much larger.
We are not going to pretend one is universally cheaper. Put your own numbers into the planner. It uses live pack prices and assumptions you set, not ones we chose to flatter ourselves.
“Per-seat platform” here means the established enterprise QA and conversation-intelligence category, sold by seat, quoted after a demo. No specific vendor is described, because their products change and this page would not.
| Criterion | Per-seat platform | QXAI |
|---|---|---|
| Buy without talking to sales | NoNoTypically a demo, then a quote, then a contract. | YesYesSign up and buy a pack. Prices are on the pricing page. |
| Cost of adding a supervisor | Another seatAnother seat | FreeFreeYou pay for audits, not seats. |
| Minimum commitment | Usually annualUsually annualSeat minimums and setup fees are common in this category. | NoneNoneOne-time packs, no auto-renewal, no setup fee. |
| Predictable monthly cost | BetterBetterA flat licence is easy to budget, and auditing more costs nothing extra. | PartlyPartlyPrepaid and capped by what you bought, but usage varies with call length and scorecard size. |
| CRM and telephony integrations | BetterBetterEstablished platforms ship connectors to the major helpdesk and telephony vendors. This is a genuine advantage. | NoNoNone. You upload files or point us at recording URLs. |
| Real-time agent assist | BetterBetterLive prompting during a call is a different product to post-call auditing. | NoNoPost-call only. |
| SSO, 2FA, SOC 2 / ISO 27001 | BetterBetterEnterprise security requirements are usually met as standard. | NoNoWe have none of these. If your procurement requires them, we will not pass. |
| Evidence and confidence on every score | VariesVariesSome show supporting text. A per-parameter confidence figure is uncommon. | YesYesQuoted transcript lines and a 0–100 figure on every parameter. |
| A different scorecard per client | UsuallyUsually | YesYesPer campaign, with its own SOP and language settings. |
| Priced and invoiced in rupees, with GST | Often notOften notEnterprise CX tooling is usually quoted in dollars. | YesYes18% GST computed at checkout, GSTIN captured against the payment. |
| Implementation support | BetterBetterOnboarding, calibration sessions and a named contact are part of what the licence buys. | NoNoYou set it up. There is documentation and email support, not an implementation team. |
Four of those rows go the other way, and they are not small. If you need live agent assist, deep CRM integration, SSO or a signed SOC 2 report, a larger platform is the right buy and we would rather you knew that from this page than from a call.
